Obsidian Arts Galway is a tattoo and piercing shop in Galway City Centre, founded in 2023 by two artists with more than 10 years of experience in the area. The aim was to build a website that would be easy to use and edit, plus helping them start the shop’s online presence. Everything needed to be ready for the launch of the studio.

Speaking with the client we decided to go with Squarespace to make it easy for them to update the information as we felt WordPress was too complicated to learn. I set them up with the start of their online presence by helping setting up Google My Business and giving tips about their social media.

I collected all the information and media, then wrote the copy for the pages: the first round of edits was done with the website already completed as the client was busy with the set up of the shop and I focused on making the experience as smooth as possible for them.

The shop is now enjoying multiple Google reviews and using the website to introduce their services and collect reservations.
